Lucky us! Laura Maher has joined our team! I am so excited to have Laura be the head coach and instructor at our Goddess Retreat this September. She is knowledgeable and compassionate, and I love the way she is able to connect with and communicate to her studentsstudents. We could not be happier to have her join our adventure!

In Laura's words... "I started my kiteboarding career in the year 2000. I have been a part of many aspects of the sport since then, from being a pro rider for Slingshot Sports for the past 17 years, to helping pioneer different kiteboarding disciplines, competing, traveling for demos and events, coaching, and one of my favorite things: co-hosting women's camps. The inspiration and the magic that comes out of these camps is always something special. It's hard to put into words the vibe. I feel women really support eachother and celebrate the learning curve together. I enjoy bringing my experience, wisdom, and safety practices into my coaching. I feel just as excited coaching beginners as advanced riders. I'm always up for working on the next piece of progression and love to help people achievee their goals.

I live in Hood River, Oregon. I spend a ton of time traveling North America with my bag of tricks, and I'm always trying to get as much water time as my schedule allows. I spend time in the Kite Park riding features. I love to ride the coast and am always looking for the best wind and waves I can find. Foiling has been a new learning curve for me in the last few years and proves to be super fun and challenging. Freestyle and Big Air have been a big part of my kiteboarding days and I seem to always enjoy the strong days of wind to get that exhilarated feeling."
