We will take you to exotic places, give back and inspire, and provide comfort and professional service. We combine challenging, rewarding adventures with unique cultural experiences. We make a difference wherever we go - in the community and our environment. Our aim is to leave each journey with lifetime friendships and forever memories.
SLA gives 10% of profits to charity.
We create three unique retreats per year guided by us personally. We take you to incredible locations personally vetted by our team.
Our retreats include world class professional coaching, from kiteboarding and kitesurfing to guided yoga and meditation.
You'll leave with added skills, feeling completely revitalized, and with new friendships. We aim to create an experience you'll never forget!
JOHANNA & GARY SISKAR
We met in Cabo San Lucas in 1989 and were married in Dana Point, California in 1992. Now 30 years later, we have 2 beautiful teenagers. Whether we're doing yoga, surfing, kiteboarding, tandem surfing, mountain biking, traveling, or parenting... our fabulous adventure keeps growing every day! We want you to be a part of it.
In 2006, we built and opened Samana Chakra Boutique Retreat in Peru. In our 10 years running Samana Chakra, we met incredible guests who became friends. We shared life-changing adventures and experiences with our visitors.
With our love to travel, hospitality experience, and desire to give back, we created Samana Legacy Adventures... the next evolution of our dream. We invite our dear friends and future dear friends to join us on this continuing journey.
Happiness belongs to you!
Johanna & Gary
With every adventure, we aim to make a positive difference wherever we go. So often as global fun-seekers, we end up visiting amazing places where we dive deep into the local community - getting to know our hosts and learning their culture.
Our goal is to go one step further than simply enjoying the experience. We give 10% of Samana Legacy Adventures profits to charity, to promote awareness and the preservation of natural lands. We wish to protect what we have come to Peru to enjoy.
